My Kool Koru

Last Friday and this Friday I have been working on Koru pastel art. We had to make it look kind of realistic so we had to have a little bit of depth to make it look realistic so like using white as highlights and not changing directions without coloring.

Amazing School Mashup (I almost Died)

Kia ora,

This week I have been working on some funky fresh tasks, for literacy, we have been ready hitchhikers guide to the galaxy we are up to chapter 18 and it has been an interesting read. The chapter that we are reading about is a planet called magrathia, it is a planet that is said to be able to make another planet, It was said to be a myth but they somehow end up finding it. but just like Indiana Jones, there was security, they got chased down by two missiles, the missiles then turn into a whale and a pot of tulips.

Numeracy
For math we have been doing fractions and algebra. I am still getting used to algebra it is pretty hard compared to other stuff I have learned. We also had to learn python so the computer and solve our questions for us, it was really interesting seeing how the computer sees the letter.


We have been making Time Capsules be opened in 40 years to see what it was like for corona in 2020, we had to write what we liked doing in lockdown and other stuff like that. We also wrote a letter for our future selves to read hopefully I will still be alive.

Color Push Friday Activity

Today I have been working on some color push art, it is really cool to see how all of your scribbles and other stuff just comes out looking pretty cool, it was really entertaining to experiment with all of the different colors and I tried randomizing it as much as possible.

My Made Up Animal

Kia ora,

Today I started making my own made-up animal, it is called the diplosaurus it has a bunny nose and freckles with its goat-like antlers and the tongue sticking out is meant to be a dogs tongue the purple furry stuff around it is its nest and the lighter green stuff around her is her eggs. It is over 200 years old with a lifespan of over 500 years. it also has a giraffe-like neck so it can eat its favorite food up in the trees blunder berries they give the creature all the vitamins to survive in the wild for a long long time. It is a herbivore so it doesn't eat meat.
